Squid Sell
Get paid by every AI agent.
Put a paid gateway in front of any API. Agents pay per request with x402 and you collect USDC. No code changes.

How it works
Three steps to sell your API to agents
01
Connect
Add your API's base URL and the credential it expects. Import endpoints from your OpenAPI spec in one go.
Price per request
02
Price
Set a per-request price for each endpoint, from fractions of a cent. Offer free trial calls if you like.
api.squidpay.dev/v1/gateway/acme
squidpay.dev/catalog/acme
LIVE · 5 endpoints published
03
Publish
Go live with a paid endpoint and a catalog listing. Agents find your API, pay per call, and USDC lands in your wallet.
For AI agents
One HTTP call. Pay as you go.
No account, API key or subscription. Any x402 client works: the official fetch wrapper, a Squid agent wallet, or the Squid MCP server with spending limits.

Everything you need to sell to agents
Zero code changes
No SDK or middleware. The gateway sits in front of your existing API and forwards each paid call with your stored credential.
Non-custodial
Payments settle straight to your verified wallet. Squid never holds provider funds.
Only paid on success
Agents are charged after your upstream answers, never for failed calls.
OpenAPI import
Point at your spec, import every endpoint, set prices and publish.
Built-in discovery
Published APIs appear in the Squid catalog, the embed and the Squid MCP server.
Webhooks & alerts
HMAC-signed payment.settled and request.failed events, email alerts and CSV export.
FAQ
Do I need to change my API code?
No. You give the gateway your base URL and the credential your API expects. It handles the x402 payment, then forwards the request to your API unchanged.
How do agents pay?
With x402. The first call gets a 402 Payment Required challenge; the agent signs a USDC authorization from its wallet and retries. The gateway verifies and settles it, then returns your API's response.
Where does the money go?
Directly to the payout wallet you verify with a signature. Squid Sell is non-custodial and never holds your funds.
Which networks can I get paid on?
USDC on Base, Polygon, Avalanche, Arbitrum. Test networks are available while you build.
What upstream auth is supported?
Bearer tokens, API key headers and custom headers, or no auth at all. Credentials are encrypted at rest and never shown to agents.
Are agents charged if my API fails?
No. Payment settles only after your upstream returns a successful response. You can also offer a number of free trial calls per agent wallet.
